"Low Form", la mostra al Maxxi è un viaggio nell’immaginario surreale degli artisti di oggi

Sogni generati da pc, algoritmi creativi e avatar che si interrogano sul senso della vita: al Maxxi va in scena un viaggio nell'immaginario tecnologico e surreale degli artisti di oggi. LOW FORM - Imaginaries and Visions in the Age of Artificial Intelligence è il progetto a cura di Bartolomeo Pietromarchi che dal 20 ottobre 2018 al 24 febbraio 2019 porta al il Museo Nazionale delle Arti del XXI secolo i lavori di 16 artisti internazionali.

La mostra tratta di questioni legati al nostro rapporto con la tecnologia e gli incredibili scenari aperti dalla sua evoluzione: un'ampia riflessione che si sviluppa attraverso un ricco programma di incontri con esperti e studiosi internazionali, tra cui l'artista Jon Rafman (23 ottobre), Padre Paolo Benanti e lo storico dell'arte Francesco Spampinato (30 ottobre), il filosofo Luciano Floridi (15 novembre).

In un'epoca in cui le tecnologie evolvono sempre più rapidamente e ci si interroga su quanto possa spingersi oltre il rapporto fra uomo e macchina, LOW FORM mette in campo le visioni degli artisti, che mostrano un presente e un futuro la cui rappresentazione è figlia dell'inconscio tecnologico e di un immaginario dilatato, in cui si mescolano riferimenti analogici tradizionali e la conoscenza digitale iperconnessa dei nostri giorni.
